Quote from the foundation’s charter – Art. 2.
«The Foundation supports research, teaching and services at Balgrist University Hospital that are related to the tasks and activities of Balgrist University Hospital and are intended to ensure that top medical services continue to be provided at Balgrist University Hospital. The foundation is politically and confessionally neutral. It pursues no commercial purposes and does not seek to make a profit.»

Key Data
The Balgrist Foundation was established in 2008 by the Swiss Balgrist Association.

Since it was established, the Balgrist Foundation has supported over 90 research projects in the field of orthopedics.

The annual financial statement and the report of activities are regularly submitted to the Foundation Supervisory Authority of the Canton of Zurich.
